LIS KASPER: IN TRANSFORMATION

A journey from childhood holiday photos to the questions and realizations of adult life.
A journey into the artist’s self - and perhaps, into your own.

Artist Lis Kasper has turned inward with a renewed sense of curiosity through her work as a photographer and her studies in art therapy. In this exhibition, she explores the questions that arise from her own life. What do we carry with us? What do we pass on – consciously and unconsciously?

FORBANDET KERAMIK: ELEGY OF BURIED HEARTS

This exhibition was a visual aspect of grief as a language.

It was about the love and unbreakable connection which remains when someone you love dies. With elegy of buried hearts you are dared to step closer to your own pain and strip away everything but facts and feelings. you are left with dirt beneath your feet and pure love.

The artworks in the exhibition shows the different stages of being buried in the ground. how nature works its way through, decomposing the human shape and turning it into soil, all the while love for that person doesn’t waver.

CECILIE LUND: MENNESKEVÆSEN

The fear of the unknown, of what we do not understand, and the fear of what might happen if we do not act with caution. Especially because these stories originate from a time without electricity and without the collective sharing of knowledge that we have today, it is not surprising that people back then imagined that shadows, for example, could be elves or that a newborn might have been swapped with a changeling if it suddenly changed behavior.

Therefore, this exhibition is about humans as beings who act in different ways, with fear as the common denominator.

HEARTLESS

Sculptures, crafted in glazed stoneware, are a powerful manifestation of chaos and wildness. Each figurative sculpture is an explosion of expression and serendipity, where inner whirlwinds of thoughts takes shape through the clay.

The works are not merely art but a window into a state of mind, finding its way through an unrestrained and intense creative process.

THOMAS SKOU: DUSTY ROSES

The exhibition showed the meeting between paintings and photography. The place where the light meets the darkness, is where the renowned photographer and artist, Thomas Skou, is combining the two medias.

We invited our guests to step into a colorful and dusty prairie, where the symbols, figures and strokes each tell a new story.
